What a lesson includes

Board, wetsuit, spot choice, and lead-coach time

Everything you need to paddle out is included — you bring swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen. Simo handles the rest.

Before you paddle out

A short brief on the day's conditions, the safe takeoff zone, and one skill to focus on — so you enter the water with a plan.

In the water

About 90 minutes of coached surfing with feedback between sets. Beginners start on stable foam boards in whitewater; improvers work timing and line choice.

After the session

A short debrief on the sand: what worked, what to practice, and where to surf next. Board, 3/2 wetsuit, coach, spot choice for the day.

Where lessons happen

Anza or Agadir Beach, picked on the day

Lessons run at central Agadir Beach or at Anza, five kilometres north of the city. Simo picks the break the morning of your lesson based on swell, tide, and your level — never a fixed spot.

We agree the meeting point on WhatsApp the day before and confirm the spot the morning of your session. For hotel guests near the promenade we can arrange a quick pickup by arrangement.

Lesson questions

Surf lessons in Agadir — common questions

Tap a question — same answers we confirm by email before you book.

How much does a surf lesson in Agadir cost?

One coached lesson is €30 per person if you surf alone, €25 per person for two surfers (€50 total), and €20 per person from three surfers (max 5 per coach). The price covers the full 2-hour session with board, 3/2 wetsuit, and lead-coach time — no beach add-ons.

What happens during a 2-hour lesson?

Roughly 15 minutes of dry-land briefing, about 90 minutes in the water with the coach watching your pop-up, paddle position, and wave choice, then a short debrief on the sand. Simo picks the break — usually Agadir Beach or Anza — on the morning of the lesson based on swell, tide, and your level.

Do I need surfing experience to book?

No. First-timers start on Agadir Beach or the soft Anza sandbars with a safety brief and pop-up drills before entering the water. If you already ride green waves, tell us when you book and the lesson focuses on technique and line choice instead of basics.

Where do lessons happen and where do we meet?

Lessons run at central Agadir Beach or at Anza, five kilometres north of the city, depending on conditions. We agree the meeting point on WhatsApp the day before and confirm the spot the morning of your lesson. For hotel guests near the promenade we can arrange a quick pickup by arrangement.

What should I bring to my surf lesson?

Swimwear to wear under the wetsuit, a towel, and reef-safe sunscreen. We provide a board sized to your height and weight plus a 3/2 wetsuit for the session. A light jacket helps for the windy morning walk back to the car.

What if the waves are flat or messy on my lesson day?

We read the forecast every evening and move your session earlier, later, or to a more sheltered break so you still get coached water time. If conditions make a session genuinely unsafe, we reschedule at no cost — no questions, no fees. Ask when you book and we confirm the policy in writing.

Can I book a lesson for today or tomorrow?

Often, yes — Agadir has coachable waves most days of the year. Message us on WhatsApp with your preferred time and how many surfers are in your group. We reply during opening hours with availability, the meeting point, and the final price before you commit to anything.
